The journey to light

Is tough and long,

But it helps if I fill

The darkness with song.


My heart fills with feelings,

My mind with emotions

That often are

Much deeper than oceans.


Poetry is a way for me

To set ideas and emotions free.

And show the world that I can be

More than what they think they see


So give me a new body and brain

When days just feel like endless rain

And take away the tears and pain

That threaten to drive me insane.

Another Snowy Day in Colorado

Amazing - 2 weeks, no rage attacks! Increase in one med is helping, decrease in others is also helping. Sleep is unpredictable, so is wake-up time, but mind is relaxed, mood is cheerful but not hyper, smile is present most of the time and I have energy while awake... thoughts are clearer, movement easier, tremors lighter, tics lesser. All-in-all, this is the best I have felt in a while and especially at this time of year!

Autism

A mystery - a dilemma - a puzzle - an enigma - a conundrum - a curse

I do NOT have a DISEASE - I have DIS-abilities as well as ABILITIES

Calm Before The Storm?

Is a 3rd straight day without a rage attack a harbinger of sunny days ahead or merely the calm before another round of storms?

A VERY Rough Day!

I am prone to rage attacks and had 3 today - seeing a new doctor Tues. and hope to get some answers - it's AWFULLY TOUGH to function like this!
